Hi I have been reading forums for lifted astro/safari vans some time now and it is safe to that I have been bitten by the astro/safari bug. I spent months looking for the right van and it came down to this. This is my 2003 Awd SLT I call the Firefly. My boys where catching fireflys one day while I was changing the oil and they told me that it looked like a firefly with all the doors open so the name stuck. I am going to lift it soon and will post pics too! I am doing the DIY 2003 safari lift kit. I am going to put 30" BF A/T on it as well. wish me luck!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Aaron that is a cool picture! You are correct I do have a passion for that ship and there is a bit of truth to that! I took these pics in the dark so I hope you can see them well! The small one is on the back passenger side door and the larger one is on the inside on the doghouse cover.

My kids love this stuff. As far as they are concerned the safari IS the Firefly. And truth be told I love it too..

I have it lifted! and what a knuckle busting adventure that was. I do not have new rubber on it yet but I will soon. I am going to take a bunch of pictures this weekend and will post!
