With all the free time I have, I've recently started exploring an interesting web site. It contains all kinds of media that has lapsed into public domain, i.e., no copyright. That means, also, that they are free to snatch up, copy and distribute without fear of Big Brother coming down on us with both feet.
There are some absolutely marvelous comedies from the 30s, old newsreels, books, music, etc., and it's all for the taking.
Go to http://www.archive.org and have a ball.
Oh, btw, there are some cartoons in there that have been banned from the public airwaves that are no longer politically correct.
