The answer to your question, which can be found in the transfer cases section, or by using the search, is the np231/233.
Also, it would be nice if posted your questions in the right section rather than putting them all in "general discussion".

I moved your thread to this proper place.
To answer the question, swap in a NP231 transfer case from as late an S-10 as you can find. It is by far the easiest as all you have to do then is hook up a shift linkage.
