I have been a member here since 2008 or something like that. I used to have a 91 Safari V-8 Shorty...RIP...Hats off gentlemen, bow heads in moment of silence for all vans who have gone to the happy vanning grounds in the sky.
I have had a couple of health problems the past few years, and my Safari was wrecked while being hauled to a new location, so I just kind of stopped stopping in.
Anyhow, I am in the process of purchasing my next project. It is a 95 Astro with the plastic headlights. I haven't got it to school yet, but probably by the end of next week it will be sitting in the shop. Not sure what I will do with it yet. I think that it should be painted a different color. At the moment it is a crappy brown. I was thinking more of a brandywine color. We'll see. Don't know if I will turn this into a V-8 or not. I have to check it all out first.
At any rate, I am glad to be back. Hope to be a useful part of the forum again,
