Hello can anyone please tell me the guage of the single red power wire that connects to the back of the alernator and runs down to the starter. All the diagrams seem to have color but no awg sizes. I have a 2005 astro rwd ls

10 gauge is standard and would be the smallest I would go. Seeing how you have to replace it, why not get a small part of the Big 3 Upgrade done and put in a 1/0?
