Need help with fuel and temp gauges!

Hello, I have a 2000 GMC Safari 2wd and my fuel and temp gauges do not work. The low fuel light stays on, but all other gauges work fine. My van has no other issues than that, runs great. Any advice on what may be the cause or how to diagnose would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
