Very cool! That's almost enough incentive to go out in the shop and make me work on mine. Almost...

Re: Lifting my new to me 95 safari on a budget and making it
As always I forgot to put some info on the 4x4 conversion i did. The big thing was i had to lenthen the front drive line 6 inches so it would fit. both driveline an tcase were from a 96 s-10 blazer. I will now be replacing the engine this week due to metal shavings in the oil with a slight knocking. I have purchased a new engine with a 7year 100,000 mile warrenty for a lot of $$$$$$ . To update things as far as driving her around This was one of the BEST THINGS TO DO TO THESE VANS !!! It drives like a dream an its 4x4 capablility is awesome ! we had over a foot of snow hit this winter an i was pushing snow with the bottom of the bumper driving down the roads with no problems !

Re: Lifting my new to me 95 safari on a budget and making it
Thank you for nice photos of bumper relocation bracket and welded upper triangular stiffener.
The Overland 2" relocation bracket appears a bit weak
AP
I am still not satified with the strength of my bumper mounts but for crash impact, a bit of crushable energy absorbsion could be a good thing.
I bolted my bumper brackets using uni strut plate, may need to have machine shop to custom bend and weld some pieces
