350 cid grief
I have a 5.7Liter (aka 350 chevy) in my Safari and I'm about ready to shoot it! Why you ask? It has a nasty miss and we (being a couple of mechanics an' me) can't figure out why it misses. I've changed plugs, EGR Valve, the solenoid that controls the vacuum to the EGR, and plug wires and it still st...

Re: V8 Stuttering
Well we have an update! It's a 91 or maybe 92 vintage engine from a pickup... Chevy of course! Oh and it does have a MAP sensor. Here's where it gets weird, the previous owner thinks it might be either the TPS or the EGR... and I'm now totally bewildered! On the bright side, I'll know more about 350...

Re: V8 Stuttering
So would it help if I contacted the former owner (who installed the motor) and asked him what vintage the engine was? It may well have one of those MAF's or MAPs or whatever...(gods I wish you guys would speak english!) #-o

V8 Stuttering
Hiya!! My new Van stutters. No...not when it talks to me but when I'm running at a constant speed or throttle setting. We've checked the rotor, cap, wires, spray pattern of the injectors, all the obvious culprits but it still stutters. It won't do it at idle nor does it do it under acceleration only...

Re: Bra or Bug deflector
Hey Kevin!! I'm going to stay with the bug deflector, Steph got me going on the Bra idea but after looking into them, they're just too fiddly for me. As for the console! Yes PLEASE!! Do you have my cell number? If not, drop me a pm or an email at aiyanam@gmail.com and I'll give it to you! cheers! Ai...

Headers
yeah it's me again...more questions! I've got a 350 chevy in Golden Girl now, but she's still got stock manifolds (ugh), can you get an "off the shelf" set of headers that will work in an 89 Safari??
cheers!

Bra or Bug deflector
I'm torn! Golden Girl (my van's name...all vans should have a name yanno!!) has a hood that is in pretty darn good shape considering her age (20) I want to keep it in good shape and would like some feed back from those more knowledgeable than I! Do I go with a Bra, removing it occasionally for clean...

Re: You wanted Kite pictures...you got 'em!
I've been flying now for almost 10 years, both for fun and in competitive flying. The competitions are actually a lot of fun, I fly two disciplines, Precision and Ballet. In Precision you are given 3 geometric figures that you have to fly utilizing the entire wind window and are judged on how well y...
