It would most likely be easier to swap an entire SII or SIII 3.8 into the van. being a turbo nut, I would remote mount a td06-18g or something similar.. Well My van has been this way the entire time I've had it with no ill affects... while I was in there diagnosing the fuel issue I am having ( which is pinned down to the pump now ), I wanted to check and make sure my spiders leg's didn't spring any leaks... So I did the right side.. fine.. .left sid...

Well this has been an increasingly worse problem. Now I need the van pretty bad. I can get it to start and idle and even drive ( kinda ) using starting fluid. But it won't GO. Has no balls. I had an EGR causing very similiar conditions on my 95 on start up, after several hundred dollars the new EGR fixed the problem nicely ( not to say that you may not have other issues with the van as mentioned in the earlier responses ) however the van is now off the road for good with that new EGR ...
