Thanks guys. Going to start with measuring the pinion angle this weekend and go from there.

That's the one unfortunately. Where can I find good instructions on measuring the pinion angle? From what the p.o. told me it's an overland 4" lift.

Vibration help
So the new van has a vibration between 62-70ish. Doesn't do it at all above or below those speeds. Only vibrates on throttle and completely goes away if I throw it in neutral. So that rules out wheels/tires. I feel it more through my feet then the steering wheel, but I can feel it in the wheel some....

I know the feeling, all to well. Sold my 03 awd Astro in 2012 and finally just replaced it with a lifted 02 Awd Safari this past weekend. Threw some pics up in the offroad sub forum.
Be patient and keep an eye out for the right van. Took me almost 2 years to replace mine.

Thanks . Question for you guys: Is the electronically engaged transfer case on my new van up to the task of minor off roading? My old one had the running boards and no lift so other then some mud and snow I didn't venture onto any trails with it.

Sold my beloved 03 awd Astro early 2012 to buy the wife a newer full size Hi-top conversion van. As soon as it drove away I knew I made a mistake. Fast forward to this year I started hunting for another one. Found an 02 awd Safari with a 4' suspension lift nice wheels and tires, flowmaster exhaust, ...
