I've got a 94 safari 2 wheel drive, trying to find the temperature senders/sensors. There's supposed to be 2 sensors 1 for the computer and 1 for the guage on the dash. Found 1 right next to the thermostat, is that the one for the computer. Can't find the other one. Anyone know where the guage senso...

There is a crow's foot socket you should be able to get at most auto parts stores and they cost about 9 bucks.Most O2 sensors threads because of heating and cooling over time needs some muscle to get them off.If the crossover is in poor condition just be careful not to break off the bug. I have a 1994 Safari 2 wheel drive with a 3 wire O2 sensor ahead of the Cat. It's really in a ......... tough spot to get a wrench on. I need to buy the sensor wrench, but which wrench? A follow up, the one good application of the silicone spray had done the trick, all's good.

I did the silicone spray the other day just after it stopped raining and the window was a lot easier to crank.
It was dry overnight and it has helped quite a bit the real test will be after a few dry days, but I think that it's all good !!!

Was the caliper grease silicone based, do you remember the brand?

btw I was in at lordco and saw a 4 oz tube of dielectric grease for $42 ...... I almost s - - t my pants.

Your fix makes sense, I've heard that silicone spray eventually drys out, so I guess it's a case of "repeat as necessary"

Thanks doyoulikeithere, I found that also, it's just pretty pricey for a small amount.
Looking for a reasonable amount to keep in stock.

94 safari 8 passenger van, manual window cranks Driver side window is stiff to wind up and down. When it rains the driver's window cranks up and down almost as easily as the passenger side window, so I'm assuming that the rain water reduces the friction in the window channel. So assuming I'm correct...
