Re: Fuel Pump - Fuel Sender Assembly - Replacement Procedure
On most older GM vehicles with fuel injection, you can siphon the gas out of the tank through the return line. It goes all the way to the bottom of the tank and if you are lucky you can just take it loose next to the fuel filter and it starts siphoning on its own. I dont know about the later ones.

Re: How do I know which compressor I have, and does it matte
Groovy, an HT6 it is, then. It is slinging ac oil out of the front seal, so now I can get the ac going again, and have it able to actually hold charge.

How do I know which compressor I have, and does it matter?
How can I tell if the compressor is a H6 or a HT6? Does it matter which I use, or is one for no rear air and the other for rear air? I have a 2000 astro with rear a/c if that helps.

Re: Trans fluid change, filter change, diff fluid change
I am going to take a grade 8 bolt and a file and make a tool. I think a 10mm square diff plug yanker will be useful with all that was said here...

Re: What did you do to/with your van today?
I screwed the internal circuit breaker shut on my maw in law's driver side window motor (she has a 93 safari). That allows it to function pretty good. I did the same to one of the door lock motors on my van. I will do the rest later.

Greetings from New Mexico.
I am joining this board because I am the owner of a 2000 astro as of a few days ago. I already replaced the power window motor on the driver's side, and did some other minor stuff. I am sure I will check here often...
