Have the same problem with people not actually using the handle properly, they try and do it all in one action.
Rather than unlatch and then slide open

This one was in False Creek, at Sunset Beach. From the debris it looked to have gone straight over the rocks and ripped the keel off.

I lived in Port Moody for a good part of my life. Close to the Art Centre. Once, my friend and I capsized a sailboat in Burrard inlet. #-o I also witnessed a train derailment and an explosion at the chemical plant.
