Re: accelerator cable connector
Yep, nothing aftermarket available either! Checking the JY in the morning, If no luck, I will need to extend and loop the cable on the stud or something rigged along those lines.

accelerator cable connector
I managed to break the little plastic clip that connects the accelerator cable to upper intake. Its different from how the cruise control cable next to it mounts. Can this connector be bought or need to purchase whole cable? Is this junk yard item only? I checked on my '94 parts van,but its not the ...

Re: 4.11's and G80 posi in 2005 AWD
I got the gears, posi and install kits from snapple as he had bought them for his van. I was originally going to install these into his van and am glad the issues I am having are on my van and not his! The rear gears and posi are used GM units and are in great shape. Sorry to hear about the hassle ...

Re: How Hard is it to add a luggage rack to my 2005 Astro V
Ive used Yakima racks for both my Astro's. My '94 had a stock luggage rack with yakima lowriders attached to that. It worked well for a tandem kayak and full length cargo box, side by side. My '95 didnt have a luggage rack. So I installed yakima trackrails directly to the roof, which is lower profile...
Re: Roof vent
With the Astro's roofs being ribbed,it has been kind of problematic to seal a roof vent. There is some truth to that for sure. But having installed sunroofs before,it can be done granted a PITA! Alot of years on our vans (least all my '90's Astros )have a square near the rear roof without ribs that...

Thats it. What's your address; I'm moving in next door. You are the Phashizzle! I so want to be your neighbor. Parking that van in the anyone's yard would instantly raise the property value. Can I get a "Hell Yeah!" ? What's the status of your old tires? Wornout? (how many miles?...

Re: My beloved 92 safari
Thanks guys , yeah I'm planning on getting clear ones soon and a phantom grille . Also I've got the Impala SS rims , waiting for tires . Very nice van! Always liked that color. I have a phantom grille and clear corners, brand new never installed. I got them for my "94 after I hit a deer and was...
