Hello fellows, I'm helping a friend replace his trans in a 98astro. It has the stock 4.3/ 4l60e. I have never pulled one of these trannys however the hole under the trans only reveals the flywheel teeth and no way to get to the bolts unless maybe the oil pan was removed? I have a 98 with a dead motor and I have found a 2001 4.3 will it interchange? Without major surgery? Thanks...for the help...

I have a 92 3/4 2wd p/up sitting for parts will the calibers mount right up on a 99 2wd astro? Where is the 11in drums coming from the 3/4 also? can I also use those off the same truck w/o complications? Thanks for your help..sounds like a good upgrade..

I'm new here however I can't seem to locate info I need. I know the one tech article written on the ls1 swap details the diagram of the mounts. I'm just wondering if there is a maker of these mounts.
