Re: Blower motor works only when it feels like it
Thanks for the help guys! Appears that the red plastic connector has snapped at the housing, looks like the best fix is a new blower.

Re: AWD inop; Service AWD light on, stick-slip while turning
I've plugged in with several different high end code readers but I can't seem to pull the codes for the AWD.

Re: Full sized spare in the factory spare position; 04 Astro
oper the drivers side rear door. Notice the small hole where you should insert the tool that should be stored in the same spot as your jack. Insert the tool, and twist.... A full size spare should fit under these vans, unless its a shorty, like mine... That's my problem, the rear barn doors don't o...

Re: Blower motor works only when it feels like it
It does this at every speed. Will wiggle the wire and check it out. Thought it was the connector in the dash but it only responds and comes back to life when you whack the motor, if you whack the dash nothing happens.

173K on this one.
The flush and figure 8 procedure reminds me of my BW1339 Jeep Quadra-Trac. By any chance is the recipe for the GM transfer case oil 3 parts 30wt non-detergent to one part friction modifier?
How do I check the shift motor?

Full sized spare in the factory spare position; 04 Astro
I've got an '04 Astro with 16" wheels and I just got a full sized spare, 215/70/R16. Can the full sized spare tire go where the donut spare goes? The tire is on a steel wheel from a 90's Suburban. One last thing, how do I get the spare tire holder down? I haven't lowered it in so long I forget ...

Rear barn doors stuck closed; 04 Astro
I've got an '04 Astro with the half barn doors and the hatch glass. Hatch glass opens fine but the bottom barn doors don't open. On the barn doors there is no key hole, just a handle.
How do I get my rear doors open again? Thanks!

AWD inop; Service AWD light on, stick-slip while turning
I've got an '04 Astro AWD and my 'Service AWD' light has been on for a long time. The other day I was out in a snow storm and the van was all over the road, when I got home I got stuck because all the power has been going to the rear wheels only...I kinda think it's been doing this for awhile becaus...

Blower motor works only when it feels like it
Got an '04 Astro AWD and the blower motor only works some of the time. Seems to kick on if I hit a huge pothole, passenger kicks the underneath of the dash or whack the blower motor. Does this sound like a blower motor on the way out or a wiring problem? On a different note I replaced the engine the...

OBD2 code P0303...Misfire on cyl 3
I've got an '04 Astro AWD and just took it in a 2500 mile road trip. Towards the end of the trip the check engine light starts flashing and the code is a P0303 misfire on cyl 3. Took a look under the hood and the spark plugs are extremely hard to get to. Took it to my mechanic and they wanted $1200 ...
