Very glad to see that you and your family made it out of there. Quick question, didn't they dramatically change the Astro in like 99 to help it hold up better in these type of situations?

By the way that crash is not straight head on. It's offset so it's only hitting the left side. So that would be the equivalent of maybe hitting a light pole or being clipped in the front by a drunk driver or something. I just thought it was interesting how easy the van folds. Everything i've looked ...

ATM I drive an Astro too. But actually your cars held up decent. The front end should crush to a certain point then stop before the cab. All those test you showed me did that

I've been researching it and Chevys pretty much have the worst crash tests. Most of the tin cans even fold up in the front but the folding stops right at the cab.
If you look at that Astro picture you'll notice also that because the center folded it forced the drivers head into the steering wheel

That crash was at 40 mph. From what i'm seeing all chevys pretty much fold up easily

Installing speakers in a cargo van
I'm a little confused on how to put speakers into the back of my cargo van. I looked back there at the wiring and the only thing i could find was 2 little plugs with 2 prongs in each of them. Is this where you would wire speakers? Or is the cargo not wired at all so I have to run my own wires? I jus...

dude i love the front end grill and lights on that thing. Did you just go to the junk yard and pick it up and did everything pretty much line up or did you have to do alot of fabricating?
