Hey there. I'm new and looking for information about swapping out a drum break rear end for disk brake. I have a 1994 G30.
Any ideas what newer year fits? Thank you.
Need disc brake swap info

Re: rear end
For most people drum brakes are sufficient for the job
Unless you're doing heavy duty towing, swapping isn't worth it and you won't notice an improvement.
-rear drums last 3x longer than disc
-they need less servicing, no pins or brackets to clean or lubricate
- because they're enclosed they collect less debris kicked up by front wheels
(they actually went back to drums on the 1500 pickups in 2009)
semi metallic pads are better and make sure your drums have a good machined surface (not glazed)
