Seatbelt Question on ‘24 Savana

Post by copper128 »

Does anyone know why this stitching is on the webbing of all the right side seatbelts on my Savana passenger van? It’s not on the driver’s side belt, but is on all the passenger’s side belts. It keeps the buckle from easily sliding down, but it can be pulled over it with some effort. It really triggers my OCD because both sides aren’t the same. I originally thought it was a splice in the webbing, but after a closer look, it’s clearly just added stitching and clearly intentionally located there, but I can’t think of any reason why. Anyone have insight?
