The other thing I did while I was at it was replace the right side headlight bezel. As you can see the old one was cracked and ragged... replacement came from newchevroletparts.com

So now of course I have to do the other side since it looks terrible in comparison....

and has anyone noticed that aftermarket replacement parts tend to fit like sh!t???? This one seems a tad smaller and leaves a bit of a gap... also it's like half the weight of the original piece... the front fenders were the same way...

Anyway, that's it for today.

Thanks for looking!

Made some changes today.

Replaced left headlight bezel so they both match new now. I also removed those bottom screws that were keeping the billet grill from attaching at the bottom. In the end I had to go with astrosafari's (the butcher) method of snapping the plastic because I couldn't get in there to remove them properly, at least not in any reasonable timeframe for what my complex will allow!

Also, I got my subwoofers lit up with the led's finally... thanks skippy and lockdoc for your help (they were shorting out inside when the wires stripped from mounting the subs on them).

And lastly, the mounting of my 6x9's was sort of half-a$$ed so I got enclosures for them and mounted one of them today...

and the big picture....

the 6x9 sounds way better too and the midbass is really good now.

Welp, that's it.

I guess that was the meat and potatoes of that thread while it lasted and just before this site started.

The original with all the banter and comments is here:

And this thread continues on with more progress right here at this site here:
