German Hilo safety video

Post by 91AWDAstro »

I don't know how many safety films I've nodded off in. If only our videos were like this, people wouldn't fall asleep.

Warning this is very graphic!

I worked at a trucking company loading dock for awhile. There was an expansion joint that was not flush with the concrete. Everybody knew to keep the tips of the forks up as we went back and forth and up and down the dock.

Well, one guy forgot.
The forklift come to a sudden stop but he didn't.
Got banged up pretty good as he was wedged into the mast.

After that, he was on pallet jack duty for a month.

Don't think they ever fixed that joint.

True story.
I was told getting my beauty sleep was a waste of time.

The same thing happened at one of our European plants. A guy crossing some RR tracks had his forks hit and it slammed him into the steering wheel. He died a week later.
