we laugh at that little bit of snow. Heck for that amount we drive through it and don't even worry about plowing because we know there will be lots more to come. We call that a dusting

We'll 10-12" of snow we have gotten has shut down our city, Level 3 emergency which means they can arrest you if you are on the roads. We only get these snows maybe every 2-3 yrs, last one was Christmas day 2004 when we got slammed with 15-16" in 24 hrs. Thankfully I made a pass last night and cleaned off about 4" then so this wasn't as bad.

LOL
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

I HOPE these are the last pictures I have to post for plowing. Even though we didn't get as much snow this winter as we did last winter I am definitely sick of snow.

This was yesterday afternoon.

I finished up today, and was glad that we didn't get all that they said we could. I had it all shoveled yesterday, and only had about 2" to clear today. The nice hot sun helped to finish clearing the powder.

No kidding. Jeeze the 20 or so around here didn't even bring out the plows on anything but bus routes and no one had any problems getting around. Man you must live in a city run by PANZIES!!

Cincinnati...need I say more. People are idiots around here, they see some rain, lose their minds, then the interstates get shut down from all the wrecks, inagine what snow does. Got to remember, when people are only used to seeing 10-15" total snow per year, this is a shutdown blizzard for us, well, not for me, I have fun playing in it!

i took leigh anne's jeep to work yesterday only because i couldn't get the van out of the driveway.

i paid a guy $40 to clear out most of the driveway today...

and i STILL got stuck in the driveway with the jeep trying to yank my 2000 out of the snow where it was buried!

we have a foot of snow here on top of the ice storm we got.

It's not the amount of snow sometimes,.....it's the wind that accompanies the snow.
That's what defines Blizzard !
and alot of these cities, out of the snowbelt, don't have snowplow fleets or plowdrivers with much experience.
