Anyone live near Marquette, Michigan?

Post by peter »

I've been trying to reach these non-professionals for awhile now. I ordered two Vega Holsters from them over 3 months ago. I was told they'd be in soon, then I got a "Status changed to processing order" over a month ago. Still nothing.
If someone lives within 20-30 minutes of these losers, I'd appreciate if you could drop by there to see if they're even still open for business. I'd gladly pay your gas there'n back. At this point, it's more about seeing the look on their face when one of their surely-many customers comes face to face with them, asking for merchandise they'd already paid for months earlier.

Peter, I used to live up at the old K.I. Sawyer AFB, just south of Marquette. Sorry about your luck. That part of the UP is a beautiful area, but has more thieves than Detroit & the south side of Chicago combined. I lived there for 5 years, and you had to be on your guard every waking minute as someone was always ready to screw you on car insurance, parts, work boots, fishing gear, groceries.

The only part of the UP I'd trust is the St Ignace area. Never been ripped off there.

Sorry, Petey, my buddy plays hockey for Northern Michigan, but school is out now and he won't be back to Marquette until September.

Thanks guys, it was worth a shot! Their voice mail has been full for the last coupla weeks, but I'm tempted to try to buy something real cheap on-line from their website just to see if they're still taking orders.
I should have insisted on getting a refund a few months ago when I could still reach 'em. ](*,) ](*,)

Yep,,try to be a nice guy and plus you want the product ASAP. Susan learned a lesson last month by paying a contractor in full before the job was completed. Results,,,job not complete and dickweed skipped town. Ain't life grand. :toimonster:

You can always file a complaint with the Michigan State Attorney General, in Lansing, Michigan. Since this was an international order, and everyone is trying to be nice because of NAFTA... hey, can't hurt.

Jim, that's not a bad idea. :supz:
Might just give it a shot, it ain't like I have anything else to do during this, my busiest season in the a/c industry ](*,)
I'm simply curious as to whether or not there's still any walk-in traffic over there.

Larry, I dunno that I trust anyone that could/would live in a town called "Florence" :poke:
