Re: ski bike
we are not really done yet we want a bar welded through the BB we built to see if we like it if i do I will build better skis and put on a better bike so this is just a test. The trucks are just tightened really tight against the dropouts to attach bike to ski. I don't think there will many crashes after the first run at least from me. I snowboard, bike, and have good balance. I would like to build a Full Suspension one.

Re: ski bike
the trays are fun for our FWD friends but the hills around here are big and for that we needed something "safer"

Re: ski bike
I was all excited to ask for a first run report...but I guess there's no snow yet, eh? Alpine Valley got any machine made snow yet? Pine Knob? Nubs Knob?
Hell, bring it out here, we still have snow on Mt Baker. And they just had a 3" dusting of freshies a couple days ago.

Re: ski bike
Nah, no snow around Detroit yet, Midnight Thunder will either be trying it out behind Wadsworth, (really steep hill, but very short landing zone) or over at Mt. "Rocky", right sport?

Re: ski bike
ya i see mcnair hill out my window but I was hoping Ripley will let us run over there and then I could do that instead of snowboarding sometimes. I was thinking about some trial runs next time it rains...if ever. little soap on the skis and i will be golden. I have started my Full suspension one, got a frame got the parts off am going to machine brackets over thanksgiving I am looking for some 80cm kids skis so i would not have to cut them, or snowblades but I am on a budget. cheap is always better.
