A man walked into the side of a train (boxcar), not far from where I live. The scene is also not far from the Men's Shelter. The police say his injuries were minimal, but they also suspect that the man had been communing for a long time with John Barleycorn.

Can say that for pretty much any train related accident.
We had one near Chicago a few years back that pissed me off and made national news. A school bus driver got caught on the tracks by traffic and let the bus get hit by a train. Killed several kids. Um, hello. School buses are heavy and have a nice low 1st gear and low rear diff. Push the cars in front of you out of the way idiot. A small pileup beats dead kids any day.

I got caught by traffic on tracks with no crossing arms once, had both my kids in my truck. looked to my right and a train was coming, and I mean close. Laid on my horn to get the cars in front to inch forward. cleared the guys rear bumper by an inch as I gunned it off into the grass. I take a very long look left and right when I come to tracks now.
