Yup, crappy tire. I probably should have checked Napa and CarQuest, as they are often less expensive, but I wanted it done and was at C-tire.

Actually I could use some new tires as well, at least a set of Winter tires for now. I will need a new set of non-winter tires come Spring.potskie wrote:Bad lift struts..... his tires are fine I believe.Kabey's Van wrote:Crappy Tire?

I hate C/T, but they allways seem to pull a rabbit out of their hat almost everytime.

They do. I bought a lawn mower using nothing but CT money once. I'm sure that cashier hated my guts having to count that serious stack LOL.Kabey's Van wrote:I hate C/T, but they allways seem to pull a rabbit out of their hat almost everytime.

Re: Rear Hatch Lifts Are Shot
While I was there I saw the snowblower that is pretty much the one of my dreams. It has a 45" swath, and dual tires. The only thing I would have preferred was a larger engine and powered controls for switching the direction of the snow output. I might even go back and take a pic with it just in case someone wants to give me a rather expensive, but really amazing gift.potskie wrote:They do. You got brains to knock out???Rileysowner wrote:I got it done. $33 with tax each. A little fiddling to get the ends off, and get the clips back on in the dark, and it is all finished. It is nice not to have the dutch door trying to knock my brains out every time I open it.
