I just have a quick question. The vortec 350(aka L31) has vortec heads on it obviously. Does the LT1 350 have the same vortec heads? Is the intake bolt pattern on a LT1 the same as the bolt pattern on a L31 vortec 350? Thanks

Re: LT1 and L31 comparison question
i'm no engine expert but from what i've seen the heads are not the same and aren't interchangable i'm pretty sure the coolant flows are opposite.
I'm sure someone more knowledgable will chime in soon
if you've got anymore questions feel free to not ask me (sorry i can't help lol)

Re: LT1 and L31 comparison question
From my research the 'vortec' intake engines have reverse flow heads.
our TBI engines have 'vortec' head which are "high flow"

Re: LT1 and L31 comparison question
The LT1 heads will not bolt up to a Vortec block. Here is an article that you can read for more information.
