Re: test
Hey, Zam.........I'm not sure what your intent was by posting just one word. Just curious. :-k It's interesting where it went. It seems to me this could be another "Off Topic" game. Just post one word and see where it goes.
Congrats "T". It's great when you find the right one. I've always been marriage "Gunshy". Cherie and I just got married last Oct. At the balloon fiesta in Albuquerque. I've known her for 43 years. Been together for 10.

I was at work and had checked into ASV when I 1st got there, and when I clicked the new posts button a message came up that there were NO new posts which was very unusual, several hrs later I checked again and same ( by now it had been about 8hrs since anyone had actually posted anything ) so I decided to try a test post just to see if there were problems posting messages, and thus the reason for the TEST post,LOL Which is why I mentioned to TLow that I had not expected the thread to take the turn it did, but I'm glad we gave Tom a place to tell us the good news who knows where a thread will go with our crew LOL.
If anyone wants to make a game of a one word post, go for it, could be interesting.

I hope ya make it, Dunester!
Lake Samish is a little moutain lake with houses on part of it, mountain and forest on the rest of it. Spectacular elevation right off the water in some areas. Lake Samish Day Lodge is on the water with a beach, where a stream flows off a 50' waterfall (about 5' wide), thru the forest to the lake near the edge of the beach. There is a trail about a hundred yards long up the mountain thru the forest to a 20x20 deck at the edge of the stream with a view of the lake on one side and the waterfall about 75' away on the other side. Our best friend is going to perform the ceremony there on the deck, with about 32 family members and friends, and a string quartet. Its about 10 minutes from our house.
Last time we were at the day lodge, I could look across the lake at comedian Ryan Styles' house and his new orange Dodge Challenger. Good thing I can't see it from the deck where the ceremony will be, I might start daydreaming about it while Kirk is perfroming the vows or something!
I have a friend who sells and rents equipment. He to bringing a 4x4 Rhino 4 seater to chauffer the 90 yr old grandmother up the trail to the deck.
Then we will walk down to the small, rustic day lodge for diiner, catterrd by our favorite high end Italian restaurant Guissepe's. My buddie's funk band will set up and play and a small group of friends will crash the place and dance all night.
Then we fly to Mexico for 2 weeks.
We wanted to keep it small, simple, but something to remember. Later, in August we plan to have another reception party similar to my 40th birthday party we had at the house: 115 friends, my buddies funk band, killed a keg from the local micro brewery. It was sweet. You are all invited. You can meet the hockey team, the mountain bikers, the sea kayakers, the white water boaters, the Vancouver vanners, the overlanders, my infamous brother in law, Larry from the T case thread, and oh yeah, one or two people from work. The Foosball table will be rockin as always.
Since you asked...
Seriously, if anyone is in the area, or wants an excuse to be in the area, see you august.
And thanks for the advice Blazer. Something I've known, but it helps to hear it again for confirmation.
Lunch is over, gotta go!
