Reaper Rocks!!!

Post by Kidhauler »

Just wanted to post the story of my afternoon. We got the idea to go to the drive in on Friday night with a bunch of the locals off the board. So I called Sanja (reaper) and we got a group together as a result of my idea. Well the wife took the van out to Vancouver and back and on the way home it locked up the front right caliper. When she got the van home the tire was so hot you could barely touch the rim. I had to be carefull taking the lugnuts off it was so hot. This was at 7:45pm tonight. I called sanj to cry about not being able to take my van to the drive in. His response was to jump up and haul a$$ for the Lordco parts by his house as they are open till 8 pm. Unfortunatly they didn't have a new caliper in but he calls me back 10 minutes later saying that there is a parts store open till 12AM about 25km from my house and they have the parts on hold for me.

So a quick trip into town and back to get parts by now its 9:40 when I get into my driveway to start working. Sanj shows up about 3 minutes later and gives a hand doing the caliper and swapping in new pads on both fronts. Then helps bleed the brakes before he had to go off to a midnight -8am shift at work.

So here I sit at 11:30pm with the van back together and tested ready to go out Friday night. It isn't very often you find people like this.

I just wanted to post up to say thanks again Sanja

Sanja, if you find yourself near Chicago, look me up. You deserve a cold beer or another tasty beverage of your choice.

You da man, Sanj. And, Kevin, we get the friends we deserve and you're a good shit, so you get good friends.

Ha, I could tell at the meet and greet last year when we found out that my shock bolt fell out, he wanted to fix it right away more than i did.

I guess thats why he's known in these parts as Super Sanj!
