Made an Arrest tonight!!!

Post by Kidhauler »

This just happened a few minutes ago. We had just got home from the football game and my wife said she was hungry. So I took off into town to grab a pizza. On the way back down my street there was a large group of teens walking home. It was around 10:30ish. As I parked infront of my house some of the little stoners were on my front lawn and walking down the street and were trying to by my pizza or get me to give them a slice. A couple of them were kind of beligerant so I dropped the pizza in the house and went back out front to make sure they had moved on.

As I was out front some of them came back and were messing around on my neighbors front lawn. So I got after them and told to keep walking. One of the little stoners gave me some bull about how they lost a cell phone. My answer was they didn't lose it there to get lost. During this a Fire truck came around the corner and went up my street. (very strange) I found out later they had smashed a fire hydrant up the street and water was everywhere. the cops figured they were going to smash the one in my neighbors front yard.

So here is the intresting part. The kids walked off and as they got about 4 houses up the street a cop car stopped them. So I stood out on the street infront of the van to talk to the cop after he was done with the kids. I just wanted him to come back in 15 min to make sure the kids had taken off. So as I am standing there the mouthy kid from the group comes running down the street as fast as he can go. At first I stood there and was kind of in disbeleif as to what I was watching. Then I see the Cop jump in his car and nail the gas chasing the kid. So I ran and tackled him on my front lawn. As the two of us were having a go on the lawn and I was just about to really pound the kid the cop got there and jumped into the fray. So I kind of backed off. The kid keeps fighting with the cop I asked him if he needs help just say and I'll put him down again. So in the end the kid ended up being charged with trafficing drugs as his back pack had a large bag of dope in it all packaged for resale.

All in all a interesting night in my sleepy little neighborhood. I mean nothing ever happens here EVER!!!! I used to hate this town as a teenager because nothing ever happens and there is nothing to do after 9pm. The most exiting thing to happen in my neighbor hood in the last decade was last november when I got T boned and totaled my old van turning out on to the main street.

This is Canada teenagers don't have guns up here. At least not in my area. In Surrey yeah it could have gotten ugly but here in sleepy little Ladner it isn't really a concern. I had already had some dealings with the same kid a few minutes earlier as I came home with a pizza and he was trying to buy it off me or get a slice from me as I was walking into the house from the van.

Toronto is like wanna be NY for teenagers now adays tho.

Funny only time in my area you hear of gun/teenage related crime is when the perp is from TO. Now theres alot of adults around here who keep gettign nailed with gun related but it seems to be retarded easy to get them in TO

Pierre, when I 1st met my ex ( Jodie ) she lived in the OHP in the Jane/Finch corridor on Grandrevine DR, this place had more shootings/stabbings/muggings than anywhere else at the time. The main problem with the area wasn't so much the Adults causing trouble as they were all working as many jobs as they could to save up the money to get the hell out of there. Nobody had any roots in the area and nobody cared what happened and the young punks had full rein ( no supervision from working parents ) and did whatever they wanted and everybody turned a blind eye. When Jodie turned 18 I got her the hell out of that environment and the rest of her family moved to much better areas soon after, Although the area has gotten a little better its still not a place I would purposely move too. These days all I ever hear on the news is about the problems in B.C specifically Surrey, I don't know if its become the dumping ground for all new familys to Canada ( and thus nobody has any roots to want to protect ) or what the problem is, but if it doesn't do something soon it will end up like Jane/Finch area.
Obviously one has to be careful when fighting back, but fight back they must!

I seriously think the media just like publicizing what goes on there the same things happen in the east end (not as much) but as soon as it happens anywhere near the Jane & finch area its in the news. also for some reason they make that area huge things happen kilometers away form the intersection but still it's the only reference. There are a lot of adults involved in the stabbings, killings and drug deals but they are smart about it and use the kids since all they'll get is a slap on the wrist and will be released

But be careful. Last time I did this freaking two other guys jump on me ... good thing I have hard bones and clunked them hard in the rib and the other in neck :) By-standers came to help right away.

Canada. We rock! :)
