I remember Billings to be rather flat with rolling grass foot hills, you do have the Beartooth Mountain Range, but they are not really in Billings, and they are no larger than the hills behind my backyard.
Where are these "Real" mountains that you speek of.

Wasn't referring to YOUR hills. I was referring to those speedbumps back east, on the right coast. Flat? Rolling grass foothills? Yeah, right! I took an 86 mile round-trip bicycle ride in high school into the Pryors. Rolling my eye! I've ridden out rolls in State 6+ seas that were SMOOTHER than those.

More than us we barely broke a cm. But it's a ver dense snow. Salt isn't melting it as well as I would like. Being -7 isn't helping either, salt will still activate but takes for ever to get the job done. Oh well we are on salting run #2 now.

Well, in a day or two the eastern US should see some snow. There's a cold front moving through OK that's pulling moisture all the way from the Gulf. It's got a boat load of rain in front of it and a bunch of the white stuff behind it. AND, it's pissing me off cuz it's cold and raining in Cypress. ( where is that dang global warming when you need it?)

Oh dude I'm about to go have a nap and get ready for tonight it's gunna be fun. We are not the well oiled removal service we were last year. But this is what happens when you have only gone out 5 times this year. Instead of the usual 2 - 5 times a week.

My Salters and sidewalk guys are pros tho. They have been out alot this year.

Not here! The groundskeeper for the apartment management co. is very lazy. He hasn't touched the parking lot and makes just one pass with the snow blower on the sidewalks. Now, they're nice and icy and the parking lot is 2+" of compacted snow and ice.
