Yup, our first gold on home soil. Only took three Olympics in Canada, but it came quickly in this one. Congratulations to Alex on winning the mens mogul gold.

Yep I caught it on TV last night as well, Kudos, his last run was awesome. The turncoat Canadian racing for the Aussies who was supposed to be all the s**t just about crashed and ended up outside the course. Poetic justice if you ask me ( well ok, no one did, but anyway...)
I didn't know about this gold medal drought till a day or two ago, which really perplexed me. Canada has lots of snow. Canada has lots of people grow up with and like snow type sports. How could this be?
'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.

just saw a short about Alex and his older bother that has cerable palsey ( firefox tells me I spelled that wrong). screw it, go Alex, Go Canada more gold! :supz:

I think that Alex won the gold more for his brother than for his country. In any case, WELL DONE!

The snowboard cross was kinda cool. US, Canada, one two. And it was good to see Bode Miller metal. That downhill course is unbelievable.

The men's hockey tournament is going to be incredible.
