My new van

Post by Rvamobiledetailing »

Backround:

I sold my 95 astro back in the middle of Jan. After having it posted on craigslist for 30 mins lol. My intent in selling it was to find a 96 or newer astro because i just really liked the new interior better. So i sold my 95,was suppose to get a 97 but it was sold before i could get to it. So for the last two months i have been trying to find another astro/safari,but came across this earlier today and couldn't resist.

It's a 97 Chevy Express 3500 lwb.Has the l31 vortec 5.7 and 4l80e. Van has 300k on it but has had rear, trans, motor all replaced. Overall van is in great shape. The kicker is the guy was asking 500 for it which the tires (Michelin ltx a/s) where worth that alone. Then the guy gives me 20 back for gas for the van lol. So for 480 dollars i think i came out pretty good. The van is extremely dirty and has vinyl letters on it that will be coming off tomorrow and i will clean it up tomorrow

I was going to rag on you for not buying an Astro/Safari, but for $480 to get a fullsize GM van... well, that's hard to argue with! :muhaha:

thanks,my intent was so to get another astro/safari but when this came up I had to get it. I also wanted a an that could tow 5000 pounds pretty nicely, which I know a astro or safari coul do, this can do it just a wee bit better lol. Gas mileage is about 14 which I thought would be worse than that not a for 3.73's when I tune it up I know it will get better
