why is it that vehicles get so cranky when the seasons turn, the air warms, the sun shines?
65 on the site tonight, mostly "guests", lurkers are about searching for answers. The last time I did a post like this, within days the site hit the all time high. butch up wusses, join, post up. This is best bunch of guys and gals you'll ever find on the net. If you are members lurking...shame! shame I say! :poke:
'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.

Blah. Back in the saddle. Just changed the oil in my appliance (AKA contour) but I have some irons in the fire. Should be big, I hope. We shall see......

Yeah, can't have the talent disappearing! From what I've read in older posts, you might be the one I'll need to ask stupid questions to. Like everyone else wishes, a V8 will hopefully reside under my doghouse.

Mine has a V8 in it. Regrettably a dead one. I put it in and either the tranny pump decided to lock up or the engine decided it didn't want to turn any more. Wager here is a bolt in the crank bob weights. Yanking to see soon I hope need to get it to the new house. Have a new Megasquirt II built and a TPI engine in the wings.
