It was an awesome day, not a cloud in the sky.
We went early to avoid the crowds.
40,000 people and 900 cars attended the show on Sunday. It was Duece heaven.
The gin palace tied up at the wharf belongs to the Edelbrock's, who were there for the show.
The entire Inner Harbour was closed to traffic for the event.
Who say's there trying to legislate hotrods out of existence. :muhaha:

Surprizingly there were a lot of hemi's in these cars. I loved where they parked the one with the blown hemi, right on the front step of the Legislature.
There were also a few of the American Grafitti cars, but the closest one to the original was the one I took a close up of. When I saw this one I thought of you Larry.
I forgot to take my camera to work with me on the following Monday. I didn't think of the parade of cars heading back to the ferry but there were even more to see on Monday at work.
I'm glad I went early as a lot of people I have talked to since have complained that it was so busy you could not get close to the cars. We had no problem getting up close.
The Morris Minor in the photo's has a blown 4.3 V6.
The old jaloppy '32 was from Sweden via L.A. and driven north to Victoria with other L.A. area car club members and their cars. The farthest driven to the show came from North Carolina.

I saw it Peter,,thanks for the thought and time taken. As I was looking, Susan was looking over my shoulder and when the yellow coupe came up I said, looks like AG.
Thanks again,,man what a show.
