So i put an ad on Craigslist...

Post by justice »

I have a grill and bumper filler from a 1994 Chevy Silverado that I have no use for. I put an ad on Craigslist for the grill, throwing in the bumper filler as an extra.

I have gotten 3 responses...

All wanting the bumper filler....

Sell them the bumper filler for the price you wanted for the grill and chuck the grill as the extra. Remember never try to figure out the people on craigslist half of them are a little nuts. The rest are really nuts.

It's the common piece that always breaks and because of that you will probably almost never see one at a salvage yard.

You have to be persistent with them is what I ususally found out. You can get great deals if you A)look and B)are patient/persistent enough to seal a deal. Selling is another matter, keep like 12 buyers lined up at once. Sell the piece everyone wants throw the grille up a few times. Someone will probably buy it
