They are young puppies! Once they hit 100 then they are old! I often wonder how most people in their 80's and 90's get their licenses. Lynne's grandma was 94 when she passed many years ago and she still had a valid drivers license although she hadn't driven in 10 years. I guess it's like when kids turn 16 and get their licenses for the first time...that sense of independence they gain.

These motorized scooters are a huge problem here in Victoria. They are not allowed on the roads without being licenced and you are not allowed on the sidewalk with and motorized vehicle.
Legally, they have no right to be anywhere accept a gated community, and cops just seem to turn a blind eye to it.
Some of the local shopping centres even have special parking for them because they are not allowed in the mall with them.
The number of elderly who live here in Victoria is far greater than your average city. It used to be a city of the newly wed and the nearly dead, but the newly weds can't afford to live here anymore as we now have some of the costliest housing in North America.
As we all get older and loose our licences this scooter problem is going to get worse. New legislation is whats needed to get them off the road until some safer can be arranged.
They are here to stay and as we get older there will be more of them.
When the time comes I think I'll put a V8 in mine.
