How to ride a bike upside down and backward

Post by T.Low »

Aaron, is this the state of flatland BMX today? There can't be a lot of guys near this level, yet, even nowadays. He is quite impressive.

At about the 3 minute mark he is literally on the bike, upside down, pedalling. He links too many tricks too quickly for my mind to process.

And finally, a video with music I can actually groove to, courtesy of The Hilltop Hoods, a hip hop band out of Australia. Luv the double bass line.

Enjoy.

Flatland, I try, but I'm not very good. I can cruise backwards all day though. I once even set up a bike with the drivetrain on the wrong side. Used to ride it around the neighborhood driving the local kids nuts, especially when I'd let them try to ride it.

Nice vids,
Takes me back to when I used to MX BMX
I tried to freestyle but I sucked at it,only could do a few good
tricks before doing a faceplant,I tried to jump over a smithrite dumpster
& I ended up in it.
I tried & tried for years to do freestyle stunting but I didnt get any better,
I traded it in for cars, girls & booze.
Still love MX/BMX & always will.

Good stuff, guys. Reaps, I know how it is; most of us seem to reach a point and thats it, there aint no more.

This is about all I really got: http://www.youtube.com/user/TCLowell#p/ ... g4xHoc8ltA

I've got "stoppies" down pretty good, but not nose wheelies.

Skip, I think you and I could work up a pretty good flatland routine with a couple of bar stools and a few pints.

amazing.
They make it look so effortless. I'm pretty sure I could wind up with an arm through the front spokes and a handle bar stuck in my ear if I tried that. cool vids, thanks for posting :supz:
