Finally added a lift kit!
Just finished installing my 2 inch Overland lift kit. Very simple to do and only took me about 3 hours start to finish. :-)

Really very easy to remove. They go into the Frame and the threads are not exposed so there was no rust issues or anything. I didn't even have to use any penetrating spray. Just the correct size socket and a breaker bar.

Lucky guy. Mine seized with rust and ripped out the flimsy nut retainer, so I had to cut the bolt off. Then I had to pry off fender

It already had a 2 inch lift in the rear when it's empty with the heavier spring and shocks. With the crap I carry, it would level out. :-) I just installed the lift shackles that came with the kit so they were a perfect addition.LiftedAWDAstro wrote:That looks much better Logan. Yeah, I wasn't so lucky when removing my trailer hitch from my 93. I had that happen. I just chiseled the bolt head off. #-o

Yeah, those rims are antiquated. They came on my 95 Astro and were all the rage back then. :-) The only reason I went with those is cause they had better tread than my stock rims and when it was time to get new tires, I didn't switch back. :-)
