Here is a pic of Ole Yellar's winter home:

I had to end the chaos with trying to work out of these two bins of tools:

I have owned this tool box for I would guess 5yrs and it was buried and covered up in the front of my 12' trailer never having a tool put in it brand new.

I would never suggest to anyone to buy a box like that one.It is over 250lbs empty and a real bear to move in.I tilted it into the back of Ole Yellar and man I am sore now.Typical that I found out I have more tools than space in the tool box too.The top haft I think is almost a grand more.Sure would be cool to have the side boxes for it too,but that's not going to happen.

I know it takes time to make a work space your own and that is kind of what I am going threw right now.

I was just so happy to find a garage that has a 10' door allowing Ole Yellar's conversion top to fit into.So the fact of this garage being over 45minutes away really at the time a wasn't factor. The fact what I rented was only a 1 1/2 garage I wanted to over look too. Also because the landlord let me use his two stage 80 gallon compressor was attractive.

As I got closer to getting the replacement 1989 rust free cargo van for the Ole Yellar project the lack of space not wanting it out in the weather became more and more of a concern.A long I never had all the trailers or vehicles at the same place again because of space issues.I knew no way I was going to be able to do a sub frame swap inside.

Commercial space with the taller garage doors is so dam expensive which would be closer to where I live.I never stopped looking at Craigslist for places and never found anything I could afford or use.

Today I am very excited to announce I put down a deposit on renting a medal pole barn the is 30' x 50' with a 220 service.I think the RV will fit threw the door if I remove the roof A/C which doesn't matter because I wanted to take that off to reseal the roof.Actually I could fit all the projects inside at one time if I wanted to.Move in date of 2/15/11.Over the coming months I will equip it to make it into a really good workshop.Still a bit of a drive, but not as far as the garage I rented that I am moving out of.The rent is a deal given the size.Just thinking of all the work I can do myself and the fact I can stop on a project where ever I want to get back to it later. No weather problems.

I am going to take pic's of it,but I still don't have a computer that I can post the pic's yet.Sorry guys. That is on the to do list......
