Hello

Post by Minniewinnie »

Hi all I live in Hampshire In the UK
I'm new to the van scene But have owned A few American vehicles over the years the list consists of in order of owning/buying

1) Was a 1993 Chevrolet Camaro 3.6 v6 47000 miles brought for the wife to replace her Porsche (sold on to another family member now)
2) 2006 Harley Davidson street rod 6000 miles ( had to sell it to pay the thieving council tax Ffs)
3) 1990 Winnebago Le'Sharo 60000 miles Brought as I don't like towing caravans (still own but not used for over a year )
4) 1997 black T top Camaro as the wife wanted it and it only had 26000 miles on it so was a good deal
5) 1995 Cadillac Eldorado 4.6 v8 50000 miles (mine but is currently up for sale)
6) 1995 Chevrolet Astro 59000 miles (brought it to replace the caddy as I wanted something cheaper to run)
And my stepson owns a 1990 Oldsmobile toronado trofeo 3.8v6 70000miles ( I think?)

I am a member of many forums and try to attend a few shows in the UK as money permits, And since owning American cars (over 5 years now) I/We have made a lot of friends and meet up just for chill outs through out the year.

I am 41 years old and work mainly in construction which I have been doing since I left school ( Family business/Dad)
I have 4 children,2 dogs,3 cats 5 fish tanks ranging from tropical to cold water type fish
will post pictures up once I get a chance of all the cars and vans we have till then I shall have a good look around the forum and investigate so I know whats where and all
Thanks
Andy

Wow, thats an awesome list even for someone living in North America.!!

Welcome to the site...

I would love to see some pix of your Harley Oh and of course, the Stro.

I had a 95 Stro AWD, but it's been used up as parts to build a 4wd van.

What European cars have you had? I liked the Capri Perana very much, although I guess thats technically south african.

Golly, the interior of the van is SWEET! I bet it's very comfortable to ride in. I've found while I like driving my van, I REALLY like being the passenger just as much. LOL My seats aren't that deluxe, either....looks like recliners! :)
