silicone paste / grease

I'm in B.C. Canada

regarding 3M silicone paste / grease.

anyone found a good (read cheap and plentiful) subsitute brand / product and where to purchase?

Thanks doyoulikeithere, I found that also, it's just pretty pricey for a small amount.
Looking for a reasonable amount to keep in stock.

slider bolts on front calipers, spark plug boots, weatherstripping, etc.

I bought a tube of brake grease for the calipers. Around $10/tube
For spark plug boots, sensor plugs etc. I use dielectric/anticorrosion grease. $5.50/tube

The tubes and contents look the same and I sometimes mix them up 8-[
Then I have aerosol silicone lube for plastics, rubber etc..

You could probably get away with using one product.

Was the caliper grease silicone based, do you remember the brand?

btw I was in at lordco and saw a 4 oz tube of dielectric grease for $42 ...... I almost s - - t my pants.

Ripco has that same effect on me almost every time.
