Keith-one thing that ticks me off some is I think the guy I had do the intake gasket used the 3M gasket cleaning discs which got into the oil and ruined this engine. ](*,)

I do think your right Keith.But it might just come down to where I can spend the least.I sure don't want to be forced into a engine swap on this,but it might end up that way.

Honestly I am fed up with the rust, but what can you do really? Makes it hard for me to invest in body work, anything I do I am trying to make it so I can pull it off and stick it on another shell. I am thinking a body is going to be a purchase in my future eventually. A shorty that isn't full window and rust free is getting harder to come by these days though. I am pretty strict on my criteria for picking a van up b/c if it's not these I am probably going to have to do more work and expense than I would have to mine to get it the way I want it.
