stopping by to say hey!

Post by Logan »

hey everyone! long time since I've stopped by and said hi. a lot has happened since I was last on here. a lot of new names. 2010 and 2011 were pretty rough. those of you that I'm not Facebook friends with; Miranda and I FINALLY divorced. it was rough, but I was also awarded full sole custody of all 4 kids. Clair is now 8, Payton is 4 and the twins Tim and Ty just turned 3. still working on the legal issues of adopting the twins since they aren't biologically mine. but since their real father isn't in the picture, it's not too pressing.
I remarried in December to my best friend, Cindy. she' s shown me what it's like to have a real teammate. together we now have 8 children. 6 that live with us full time. Shemar is 12. he has non verbal autism. and charley who is also 3. I meant Cindy through Miranda because she was doing Cindy's husband. ( we joke that we could be on Jerry Springer)
I still have my 93 355 cargo shorty. probability stripping it for parts soon. I purchased Lockdoc's 93 4x4 early last year and I'm still driving my 02 awd with as of today has 395427 miles. also just purchased a 1999 international school bus that were going to make into a motor home. a lot more has happened, but thats the condensed version. looking forward to getting back into the groove of things and hopefully posting more.:-) take care

Holy jumpin! Thats an update alright. Here's to a great new family.

Two things:

1) My best friend just had his first child last week; a boy named Logan.

2)Here's a link to my favorite bus conversion.

Here's the picture of the new family at our wedding.
Image
Left to right - Charley 3, Jamela 17, Payton 4, Titus 3, Cindy ?, Clair 8, Tim 3, Me, Shemar 12 and Amiah 17
Like I said, the two older girls live with their dad. It's still a full house though :-)
Image
We had a nice intimate wedding. There were more kids than adults. We got married at an old 1800's inn in our little town. (free cause I fix their equipment lol)
Image
AND here's the bus. 1999 International with the T444e engine (power stroke) and Allison Automatic. The best thing about it is that it has DUAL air conditioning. How many buses have air conditioning AT ALL?? :-)
Thanks for the conversion sites, I've been using http://www.skoolie.net Has a lot of useful info lol

thought I would just update this thread. life gets better and better.I got good renters in my old house and Cindy, the kids and I just moved into our new 5 bedroom 3 bath "forever" home. and I finally have a garage! I cut about an inch off my middle finger on my left hand back on memorial day. oops..... I destroyed a cam lifter and lobe on Cindy's 84 sportvan so we decided to install the 355 drivetrain from my 93 Astro into it. so we now have the coolest, fuel injected, 1984 G20 Sport van around. :-) I hit 400,000 miles on my 02 awd..... it still runs fine..... really looking towards it dying so I can get an awd express. bus construction kinda stopped for now. we did get it use it to move though. still have lockdoc's 93 4x4. I actually use it to take the kids to school everyday. they love it. they call it the monster van. it's kinda been nickel and dimeing me, but for what Bill sold it to me for,I can't complain. that's about it. life is good. even with a stubby fing :poke: er.
