So didnt really know where to post this. mostly looking for some suggestions...
I want to get a set of strobe lights for what would normally go into the headlight and tail light area. But wondering how this would work in our vans?
The tail lights I am sure would fit. but not sure. So I was thinking about going the mountable type route. As in mount them in the grill and then in the back window area of the cargo.
basically the ebay type ones that are a dime a dozen. But I am open to suggestions if anyone else here has some in their van already that work out good for them. I am hoping to keep the "control box" hidden as much as possible and have a switch mounted near the radio in one fo the blank spots or somewhere also somewhat out of the way if it wont fit.
these are what I'd like to get http://www.ebay.com/itm/80-Watts-4-Halo ... 800wt_1174
thanks,
Nathan

Re: Strobe kit suggestions
Those are NOT legal unless you are some sort of first responder or a city worker etc.
And I am doing the exact same thing. That kit can be found under a few names, WOLO and Bovatech come to mind. I was gonna do Ambers but then I saw the movie "In Time" and they had white strobes in the police cars and it actually looked kinda cool.
I think most of those sockets are 1" in diameter which is kinda big. You will be sacrificing a lot of your headlight reflector area.
I would not go with red or blue as those would probably reflect even when they are not on.
I'm still not sold on these because of the size. I might do LED strobes from SuperBrightLeds instead.
I'm also installing a siren and electronic sputter horn.
Why? Cause it's fun. Definitely not legal for the average Joe.
