anyone know?
I have a 7747 computer but I can't remember what I took it out of is there a way to tell? I think it came from a c30 chevy van with 350 TBI. If it did I can use it for the 350 I have almost ready to go in.
Recently bought a 1989 Astro RS from Florida. Replaced stock engine witha 1997 5.7 vortec with TBI and replaced transmission with rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit.

Re: anyone know?
It's the same 7747 box I have in my 5 speed 4x4 87 astrovan, with the 4.3. But tbichips.com lists it as the box for a truck 350.markmitchinnh wrote:I have a 7747 computer but I can't remember what I took it out of is there a way to tell? So, you need to be sure the chip in the box is a V8 chip, not a V6 chip.
I bet there is a number on the actual chip in the box that might tell you more. tbichips.com could probably answer this one...

Re: anyone know?
I kept on searching and I finally found a site that tells by the numbers what chip is in the ECM and what size engine it goes to. It is a file not a website so I can try and figure out a way to add it here later.I have a 305 chip and a 4.3 chip and two ECM,s so I still need to find a 350 stock chip some where. So basically i need a chip, a TBI intake a few gaskets and a cat-converter to install my 5.7 and still pass California emissions. I will get all the engine stuff first then get the chip and the cat will be last. Wish me luck.

Good Luck.
I tried a stage 1 chip from tbichips.com and it made a surprising improvement.
Did you get injectors for a 350? or what have you got for those...
