Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself as the owner of a 2005 Astro Cargo Van. Owned one before and liked it so much I bought new in "05.
I use this for business and as the business grew my fleet grew.
The Astro Van has become my "sales" vehicle. I do a lot of driving throughout New England and it has over 200K miles. Still going strong.
The big question I have is it possible to add a rear bench seat to this cargo van.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, glad you are aboard. Just keep up the maintenance on your van and it will just keep going. =D>

I'm having an issue with the valves sticking. Any advice on a remedy. Mechanic told me I would need a new engine.
Also, which forum should I pose the questions about adding seats to the rear of my cargo van?

MMO= Marvel Mystery Oil. I've never needed to try it but I've heard it works. You also might try putting a can of Sea Foam in the crankcase.

If you have access to drills and maybe a welder, you shouldn't have any major problems adding one. I tried to add a single seat just behind the front ones in my cargo van, but wasn't happening. You should have the flat spots on the floor where they would normally be mounted.

Thanks. Is this the kind of thing you get at a junkyard or salvage yard?SPL Astro wrote:If you have access to drills and maybe a welder, you shouldn't have any major problems adding one.
