Hello Everyone,
A.J. here... just thought I would introduce myself. Not in an Astro / Safari yet... in the hunt for one, seems unless I take a drive 4+ hours either way and a wife kill... I can't find one with low miles in the 2000 year. Thanks WNY
In any case, Hello all!
I've been following a few of you for some time on here now. Always loved Astro / Safari vans, however always ended up with the new makes, F150's, Torrents, CRVs, etc.. Selling my Torrent and getting an Astro / Safari.
Any help in my hunt is appreciated.

Welcome, AJ. It's a drive but there are always some nice rust free vans here in Florida.

I know.. Right. Tell that to my wife that she gonna stay at home for 3 days or so with 3 crazy kids. Lol

Hey guys, found an Astro, looks very nice and clean inside and out. Little rusty under like the frame and what not.. should I be worried about this rust? it's also a '01 with 188k miles on it? should I look for something with less rust and mileage ?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I guess I'm spoiled. My Safari is a '96. Not a spot of rust anywhere. 251k on the odo. I wouldn't buy anything that showed rust or with that many miles. It's the rust you can't see that's the problem.
