while I am actually here looking for an answer to an a/c problem (which I found-love stickies!) I was reminded of a heating issue. The heat ducts that are under the passenger seat and in the wall panel behind the drivers seat cook my kids feet. Adjusting the temp on the dashboard doesnt seem to have an effect. Do these bypass the mixxing valve that control dashboard discharge temps? Can they be tied in?
Thanks

Re: adjusting rear heat?
Put lumpy's infamous ball valve set up before the heater core, in the water line. And adjust the amount of hot water it gets.

Re: adjusting rear heat?
Hi, there is a rubber heater hose under the van that runs from the engine compartment back to te rear seat floor heater. You can cut the rbber line mid way and install a metal brass ball valve that is available in plumbing department at home depot. Juat install brass barb fitting that fit inside the rbber heater hose. (Hose ID i think is 1/2"),
Or maybe could install the ball valve in the engine compartment near the T fitting that route radiator water to front heater and rear heater if you don't want to cut the oem hose.
The ball valve is more reliable than a gate valve.
The ball valve can be closed off a bit to reduce the flow of hot water going to the rear heater core.
