No Overdrive came from factory on this 2003??

Hello all. I'm looking at a 2003 Safari to buy. I took it for a test drive today. It does NOT have Overdrive option on the gear shift. Isn't that unusual? I thought (obviously wrong) that all 2003's came with it??

My preliminary research says ALL 2003's came with "4-spd auto w/OD"....??????????

lol, Just after I posted here I saw the post on the other site. 3rd gear is used for towing or if you have a load. You can run in 3rd all day long if you need to and it will keep the trans from constantly upshifting into 4th and then back down because you need the torque.
